Geckos
My nephew has had a gecko for several years now, and we have watched it grow and change. At night, Mom, Kitty, and I watch 2-4 geckos climb all over the back patio door. We've found some tiny ones in the house and all over the front porch too.

ReplyDeleteMy little girl dressed these lizards up & I photographed them. That’s right I’m the proud parent of an amazing little girl with a HUGE imagination & proud to say the owner of these images!
Here’s our story;
Our Wheaton Terrior ‘Sonny’ was always into mischief & would often catch lizards. Many times the lizard will shed their tail in defense as seen in the photograph.. (not to worry the tail grows back.)
My daughter always came to their rescue.. one day she noticed they were very relaxed, too relaxed, almost in a hypnotic state.. well, my ‘little Dr. Doolittle’ did everything she could to revive them & set them free! Yayyy! Well one day these two lil cuties decided they didn’t want to leave & hung around! They became pets, she cared for them, fed them & loved them! Fast forward... This is when the lives of “lizards & Polly pocket clothes” would collaborate & change history!!
Lol!! She was only 8 years old at the time! She saw an opportunity & ran with it.. lol
And BAM! This is how this pic & many others circulated the internet.. I wish I had a dime for every time we stumbled across these funny pics.. Honestly, who would have thought these images would have gone viral & my little girl would be famous for “lizards dressed in Polly pocket clothes!” Lol
If we only knew .. perhaps it could’ve help pay for her college education!! Btw; My 8 year old little girl is almost 22 years old!
