Geckos

My nephew has had a gecko for several years now, and we have watched it grow and change.  At night, Mom, Kitty, and I watch 2-4 geckos climb all over the back patio door. We've found some tiny ones in the house and all over the front porch too.

When I saw this picture, it made me laugh. Geckos wearing Polly Pocket clothes sitting on a couch.

Creatures in the House

 
I was awakened Thursday morning at 3:30 am by something scampering quickly along my arm.  When I woke and felt it, I jumped.  It fell on the bed.  I used the sheet to flick it off the bed.  Kitty stayed up watching it.  I assumed it was a spider, and I didn't want to go back to sleep.

However, after this morning, it may have been a gecko.  Kitty brought a tiny, baby gecko she caught somewhere in the house to show me by putting it on my bed.  She sat so proud next to it. She also acted like she was petting and licking it.  I put this one outside to survive, but I saw a larger one in the bathroom later in the day.
