Happy Father's Day to all the males out there who play an important role in the lives of children.
Like Mother's Day, not all males have had the opportunity to father a child, and I can imagine this day is a little sad for them.
For others, they have lost their father.
This is my 12th Father's Day without my dad. Honestly, I am not sure what my thoughts or feelings are on that. I don't know if I can put them into words.
Prayers to everyone having a difficult day today.
My sweet BFF and her mom invited me over for dinner. It was great being around friends today. I hated to intrude on their family, but they were so sweet to include me.

Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and male role models out there!
I huge "thank you" goes out to my brother for giving me the most amazing niece and nephew God ever created. The moment he became a Dad is the moment I became an Auntie, the best role I could ever have.

Happy Father's Day to all the men in our family spending it in Heaven!
(Dad, both grandfathers, maternal uncle, maternal great uncles, and so many more)

Father's Day
This year, I spent Father's Day on the road through New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and niece.
My father passed away 10 years ago, and each Father's Day since has been a little sad. I always wonder what life would be like if Dad were still with us. How different would life be?
My brother has been a father for 12 Father's Days now. A few questions I have for him (but won't ask) are:
Are you the father you thought you would be?
Are you the father your children deserve?
Do you try to be like Dad or very different?
Do you have the relationships with your children that you want or that they want?
We were on the road to Las Vegas for my niece to dance. Her dance team was invited to Nationals, so we decided to make it a family vacation. Not only were we all together on Father's Day, but we were heading to a town where my mom and dad visited 45-46 years ago, one of their first vacations as a married couple.
