Unexpected Snow Day (Just Before Spring Break)

Today brought the fourth most snow ever recorded for March in our little neck of the woods.  It brought an unexpected day off of work too.  I spent it working on tests for the grade level/curriculum I assist in writing.  It was all just so beautiful.  The pictures just don't do it justice.

Day #4 of the ice, snow, and freezing rain makes for a great day to rest and stay under the covers.

Today, Carly turns 3!  It has been an adventure being her caregiver.  Genetically, her emotions swing drastically from one side to the other in a second. She is only a lap cat when she is in the mood. She must have her tuna every night. She can't have a bit of the bottom of her food bowl showing or she wants you to refill it immediately. At night when sleeping, she must be able to lay her head on your legs. I love that she has to see me to the door every morning and meets me at the door every time I come home.  We love her greatly, talk to her constantly, and would be lost without her.
